I was wondering what airlines serve HNL with a DC-10. My friend just flew to HNL and she doesn't know what airline she flew. I asked her if it was AA or Hawaiian. She said it was definetly not American. So I was just wondering what other airlines fly the DC-10 from LAX-HNL?

Continental flies from Newark and Houston, once daily to HNL with a DC10-30. Hawaiian Airlines flies a lot of
ex American DC10-10's and DC10-30's to the Islands,
from several West Coast gateways. United still flies a
DC10 from ORD to HNL. American might still be using
DC10's to Hawaii from Dallas/Ft.Worth. West Coast
AA flights are probably going 757 or 762.

NW also has daily DC-10 flights from SFO (1) and SEA (2) in addition to the two daily flights to HNL from LAX. In the winter, NW flies their DC-10-30ERs from DTW-HNL as a seasonal service (which should be upgraded to year-round, IMO).

I was just there on Tuesday, and flew back on an AA DC-10.
Airlines that fly DC-10s to HNL from LAX:
American
Hawaiian
Continental
Northwest
United flies 767-300s and 747-200s, but not DC-10s.
Delta flies L-1011s.
