Hey everyone, every time i fly i always request an upgrade to First class. I always fly on AA since my family has a ton of AAdvantage miles. I am always rejected an upgrade because they say the plane is full. Then when i board the plane i look in first class and its not even half full! Whats up with that? Does anyone have any tips on getting upgrades into first class??

Be sure to board the plane last, and sit in any first class seat that is open and not blocked for crew use. It's kind of like stealing, but what the hell, right?

Theres a problem with stealing like that.. We tried once and the FA came with the head count. Three extra in first class, three missing from economy. They checked everyone in first ticket stub, we got SENT BACK.

They will kick you out if you do that. If you refuse to move, you will be met at the other end by security. It has been done. And rightfully so.

What's wrong with rookie commuter pilots? Are commuter pilots worse than those people scamming their way into first class.
