Very simply put, does DL's 767-300 ER's have power ports or EM Power in the business elite section? According to DL website, no but referring to seatguru.com there are power ports at each business class seat. Anyone with first hand knowledge clarify this for me? I have flight to DUS next week and need to know, thanks in advance

All BizElite seats have EmPower ports.

From the BizElite section of the website...

"Our battery-saving Empower™ system allows you to use your laptop while you're in the air. All you need is a compatible adaptor you can purchase at many computer accessory retail stores, online, and on-board aircraft through the Duty Free program on international flights to Europe, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India, and Japan."

No problem. It is kind of buried in a blurb. They should put that one right out there for all to see.

And the new BizElite seats don't even require the EmPower thingy.

Yeah, all BizElite seats have the ports.

While all the seats do have the ports. On 2 of the last 5 fight BizE legs I've flown, the port was damaged and non-functional at that seat. The BizE cabin on many of the DL aircraft is really in bad shape.

I know that they're about to start up grading it but they let it get to an embarrassingly bad state before they did anything about it. I'm flying them to Rome this June and really hope that it's gotten better. If not, that will be my last trip on DL internationally.

Any information on which aircraft, if any, have the new biz elite cabin yet?

Just one. Ship 1701 IIRC. It was rolled out on April 28th me thinks after the refit and cleanup.

My SQ flight back from India on the very new A345 found me with a dead power port. Luckily the guy next to me slept the whole trip and I used his.

Found the thread on the new BizElite... Delta's Enhanced BusinessElite Update (by ATLflyer May 5 2006 in Civil Aviation)
