Does anyone know where I can find pictures of Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 1771 disaster. In this accident, a disgruntled USAir employe killed his boss, the pilots, and then himself as he let the BAe-146 plunge to the ground in between LAX and SFO.
Airdisasters doesn't have any pictures, but the aircraft's N-number was N350PS

Not sure where you can find photos now, but I have seen photos of the crash site just after the crash and there was not a lot to see. The plane did a nose dive from 30 something thousand feet and hit the ground nose first and disingrated upon impact. There was no large pieces of the fuselage or engines that I could see.

I read that website and It made me cringe and wished that his soul is buring in hell along with Hitler, Dahmer and Bundy. It's one thing to kill your boss but when you kill innocent men, women and children for no reason other than to your sick whim then you deserve no sympathy and I hope you do burn in hell. I hope all airlines take note that this could happen to any of them one day which is why they need more armed skymarshals like the middle eastern airlines have them and you hardly see any hijackings, shootings, or anyone trying to hijack Middle eastern planes in fear of being exceuted. Those of you working at the FAA should take note that when passengers pay for an airline ticket that we demand more safety as well that will meeet or exceed Western Europe, Japaneese and Middle eastern carriers. And another thing. STP catering to the airlines bottom line and putting passenger safety on the last of your list!!! You've already suffered on the valujet incident; So why not get your good name back and do your jobs. Youve been blamed by TWA800 and Valujet592 families as well as the NTSB that you've been incahoots with the airline bottomline rather than passenger safety

ViginA340,Please think before you speak, because we do have a hell of alot of airmarshalls but they are very low key and their indentities are secret.PSA1771 went down when they were not as common and who would have thought an intra-california flight would be terrorized, and what happened to the middle eastern airmarshals in the hijacking of that Indian A300 just this year.

India is not part of the middle east but rather toward the south of Asia. Indian Airlines is not part of carriers like Emerates, EL-AL and Royal Jordanian. and I do think before I speak. You guys at the FAA haven't done much since PAN AM 103 went down and took my best friend and his family with it along with a 2 people that my parents knew who were aboard the flight. Trying to get a recomedation passed by FAA is like trying to talk to a brick wall as one man put it after he and a TV prouducer with a hidden camera went to JFK to purchase Tickets in cask at an American Airlines desk under names of well known terrorists. This was published in the 1996 TIME magazine issue with the wreackage of TWA 800 on the cover. Keep in mind that I'm not the only one to criticize you. Joe Lynchner the man who lost his wife and children on TWA 800 accused you of being to cozy with the airlines and letting them slip though with problems at the airlines. Do I have to remind you of your neglect of the Valujet situation before a 110 people had died. You are also being blamed by Jim Hall from NTSB by not doing your best to protect passengers along with former Inspector General May Schiavo who wrote some negative things about the FAA in her book called Flying Blind; Flying Safe. You are not called the Tombstone agency for nothing. The FAA was criticed years before the Valujet disaster by not recomending that all D class cargo compartment have smmke and smoke detection systems after a 1988 fire of an AA DC-10 to Memphis made an emergency landing due to FAs and passengers smelling smoke. Luckily everyone made it off but the plane was destroyed. The same thing happened to another AA DC-10 in 1986 but again everyone got of safely minutes after it had completed a Honolulu-Chicago flight; again this plane was destroyed. Face it the FAA hasn't learned little if notihn at all aince the Valujet incident. The only reason why your are passing some of the NTSB's requirement now is because you are under pressure by the victims families as well as the NTSB and a few politicains. Stop acting like I'm the only one with a problem with this dinosour burocracy called the FAA. TWA 717; a hijacking to you may be unlikely but just wait until one day one or more persons gets though this joke of an airport security gets on a 757 JFK-LAX with some guns and bombs and then hijack a plane with over 100 passengers on board and until their demands are met then they will kill 2 passengers every hour.

If you guys want to see excellent security at work fly to LHR, Stansted, and some of the Middle eastern Airports along with Bombay and Delhi Airports in India who have excellent security along with quite a few japanese airports. You people at the FAA might learn something by watching security at those airports
