The comments in the picture read:

"Performing a low pass over the runway. Many thanks to Varig and to the crew which diverted a commercial flight to CWB to make this amazing show for us."

Are there really passengers on this flight? If so, is this a smart thing to do? I know I'd love to be on it if is, but just wondering.

I dont know, maybe some passengers will freak out ("oh my god, we're gonna crash, oh my god we're gonna hit the tree")
Then they'll run around telling everyone how much "dangerous" it is to fly varig and what a bad experience they had. I know I'd love this stuff, but then I'm not like all the others

Yesterday some guy was telling me about his landing experience at beirut... he told me that
"oh my god i really thought we were gonna die, we were flying so low that i really thought we were gonna hit the water the pilot is such an idiot, they put us on some crappy airlines, lufthasa.
- (me) lufthansa?
- yeah the agency put us on lufthansa because it's cheap, it's some crappy cheap airlines.
- Lufthansa is the number one airline in germany
- I dont know, I'm never flying lufthansa again "

what an idiot

On the other hand we should'nt let these people stop us from doing the good things. They would probably freak out for a nothing anyway, like a regular landing  Smile , so to hell with them.
