-Aerocaribbean (Havana) has ordered a new ATR 72-500 for delivery in 2001.
-The undisclosed customer for one ATR 42-500 ordered during the Farnborough Air Show is supposed to be Necon Air, Nepal.
-Bangkok Airways says they signed at Farnborough to roll over its current ATR fleet with 12 new ATR72-500
Leasing/second hand deals:
-SLAM is a new Italian airline with a ATR 42-300 on order.
-South Asia Airways (Dhaka) is a new airline which has ordered three ATR 42-300s for deliveries starting in October.
-West Caribbean (San Andres) is a new operator with one ATR 42-300 on order in Colombia.
- KHALIFA AIRWAYS has ordered 3 ATR 72-500 and has leased 4 used ATR42 -300
- Air Mandalay will lease two ATR42 (likely the -300)
-CRETAN AIRWAYS will lease 2 ATR72-200
- CSA will lease one ATR42
-WDL, Germany, has now aquired a fourth BAe 146
-Arkia, Israel, is reported to be interested in 2 firm Dash 8-Q400 plus options.
-Air Botnia is interested in the Avro RJ85
-Jet Airways is interested in 30 till 50 seat regional jets
-Augsburg Airways will soon decide which jet equipment they will order
