This week I'm taking my first steps into doing my dream, flying. For about 3 years I worked around aircraft and I've never gotten a chance to take piloting lessons so now I am. I'm about 21 in my last year of college and am thinking of going into either the Navy or Marines to fly jets after I graduate. Does anyone have any hints or suggestions on what I should be doing on my first trip actually flying a plane?

The standard line for taking people on first flights in Gliders is, "Whatever you do, don't touch the big red ball." I doubt that applies in this case, but oh well. Good luck, and hope you get military jets. Thats what I want.

HEY I'M A PRIVATE PILOT MYSELF AND THE BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO WHEN YOU GET YOUR LICENSE IS TO TAKE FRIENDS AND THE FAMILY TO OTHER NEAR BY CITIES. IF YOU ARE DOING YOUR FLIGHTS ON A 152, MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET CHECKED OUT ON A 172 AS SOON AS YOU GET YOUR LICENSE. AND GOOD LUCK.
