ISO9002 Registered

My airport Hamilton International Airport in Ontario Canada just got ISO9002 registered the biggest airport in Canada to get that and only the second. how big of a deal is this?

Getting certificates from ISO usually means you reach a certain level of quality in your operations. So I'm guessing it's probably not a very big deal. The airport's probably operating to a more stringent set of standards, if nothing else.

There are ISO certifications for many industries. For airlines, too. I can't tell you right off my head which ones got them - sorry.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
