How many (FX) planes can be on the ground at MEM, at the same time?

Interesting nickname, VarigB707...are you Brasilian? I'm from Memphis yet live in Sao Paulo. I have no idea how many jets can be on the ground at once. Great question. But there have to be well over 100. Maybe it just looks like that. 4pm at MEM is an awesome site as DC-10/MD-11 after another take off. 8am is just as cool seeing them come in after being gone the night before.

No, im from TX.... Lived in Brazil for couple years. I am portuguese/american, with family everywhere (Portugal, Brazil, US). While in Brazil, i flew on Varig's B-707 many times and enjoyed very much. That's my favorite jet. I'd do anything to fly on a B707 again.  weeping  lol

Looking at the Fedex parking charts there are about 175 gates that can be filled + or _ a few. During certain holidays when the "fleet is in" it's quite a sight.
