Yep, it's definitely the 18th.
Arrival time has been pushed back to 13:20 according to the guy at the BAA I spoke to yesterday. It will land on the south runway - not sure if that's true if 09s are in use.

Quoting Thowman (Reply 10): Does anyone know what time it's going to depart?
I think its there for a day or two, I cant imagine all the ground testing etc will be done within the day of its arrival but someone might be able to clarify this.

I heard that it will be departing from stand 562(??) or something like that. I also heard that it will leave on the friday at 5:55am, therefore just staying a few hours.

Quoting RichM (Reply 16): It is landing at Filton? What day and time? Thanks.
We have not been told the times as yet, just around mid morning to midday, times will be issued nearer the time of 18th May.It is will be arriving before it goes to LHR, so 18th May
The memo read that Filton will be restricting visitor access to the site. There was no mention of it landing at Filton, just doing a flying display. The same applies to Broughton. But it can't land at Broughton anyway coz of our little runway.
Because of the A380 doing these visits, I was informed from the memo that there is not much chance of it showing up at the Family day on June 10th. Due to the heavy testing schedule.

do you know if it will fly over the Clifton Suspension Bridge like they did for the last Concorde?
Also, what MSN number will it be?

It's just been announced on local tv news that the A.380 will be arriving over Filton approx 12 midday...
The flight-path was given as approaching from the NE (presumably from Broughton?), doing a low pass along the runway East-to-West, then looping south-west, over the Clifton Suspension Bridge, back up to Filton for a repeat fly-past West-to-East, and on to Heathrow...
All subject to the weather, of course, which is likely to be miserable (not to mention forecast high winds)!

It will be 27L by all accounts. Landings at the moment (11.45) are on 27R. The weather at the moment is Cloud with small patches of clear sky... But there are also some very dark couds about so it's really is going to be luck of the draw regarding photo's.
For me the aircraft is going to fly right over my office as i work about 2 mins from Hatton cross. I have my Canon 20D ready and will have to walk all of 20 ft to get a photo
Good luck anyone comming down.
