That I know of, IB currently operates the largest fleet of MD-87's, followed by AM and SAS.

AFAIK Allegiant only operated MD-82's, no?

I also always thought the MD-90 was the best looking one because it's so long.

TIS

Edit: Looked it up, which I should probably have done before. Allegiant operated -81, -82, -83, and -87's.

Allegiant's aircraft are all MD-83s, some upgraded to this standard, with the exception of the two MD-87s.

Didn't Midway airlines (#1) operate a few of those before going under?

They certainly did. Altogether, eight MD87's were delivered new to Midway, these being:

c/n 49724 (N801ML)
c/n 49725 (N802ML)
c/n 49726 (N803ML)
c/n 49727 (N804ML)
c/n 49777 (N805ML)
c/n 49778 (N806ML)
c/n 49779 (N807ML)
c/n 49780 (N808ML)

As far as I know, all are currently still being operated, either by Aeromexico or Allegiant Air.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Titch
