On Sunday, a small twin engine crashed on a highway outside of Ft. Lauderdale, FL:

CNN also ran the story, but I can't get their link to work. Luckily, both the pilot and the passenger escape without harm.

Good to see there were no injuries. From the video the registration is N79NS, a Cessna 414A Chancellor.

You know the gear is up and locked when it takes full throttle to taxi to the terminal.

It's great to read that the 21 year old pilot brought the plane down safely. Whew! I bet he was shitting his pants, though.

It wasn't even a highway, it was just a 6-lane road surrounded mainly by residential areas.

Good job to the pilot  thumbsup

"About the only way to look at it, just a pity you are not POTUS KFLLCFII, seems as if we would all be better off."
