Any news on the service between CDG and NBO? There had been an announcement some time back for flights to commence in July 2006. Today I saw on OAG flight search that there's direct service between these cities on KQ 113 in January 2007. I tried a Google and Yahoo news search but didn't hit anything. Does anyone have more information on this service? Thanks.

Service is now set to start at the onset of the northern winter schedule at the end of October 2006. The service is still planned to be thrice weekly, but seems to be rather unfavorable for onward connections at NBO:
KQ112 NBO CDG 2315 0545 days 2 4 6
KQ113 CDG NBO 1000 2030 days 3 7
KQ113 CDG NBO 1320 2350 day 5
This summer, KQ seems to be using the equipment that was meant to be used for the CDG to operate extra AMS frequencies. The AMS route will be reinforced to 9 weekly for the summer peak travel.

Yup, very interesting schedules and appears to be limited to NBO bound pax only, while it still allows for AF connections at CDG. NBO's location and distance from CDG would not allow it to take advantage of connections at both ends, as early morning traffic at CDG is what gets folks to/from the US, while at the same time providing decent hours for European traffic.
