Probably a 757-200.
If you'd asked yesterday, I would have been able to find out for definite  Wink

EMA is now a 757 base. Long term plan is to can the 320's & be all boeing shorthaul & 330 longhaul till we decide on our future fleet plans.

Cheers.

Does that include the Eastern Canadian flights that are currently operated by B757-200s? They would take a lot out of the A330 fleet.

Also are they still on with plans to trade in the A320's with Condor in return for B757-300's?

There's a chance this may not go ahead. There's speculation that LH want to sell their 50% share in TC AG, but hold onto Condor. So, realistically, this could affect any swap of aircraft

looking in my computer - 286K/L scheduled to be operated by an A320 on them dates.

However judging by the amount of sub charter work going on this summer already at LGW it could be anything from an Air Italy 752 to Air Finland 752 to any one of the other UK airlines! You just dont know!!

Don't let Spotingpete scare ya! TC rarely subcontract any equipment from non-UK carriers. They are good at utilising and planning their fleet and with the exception of unexpected tech issues, they dont do a lot of aircraft switches at last minute.

In fact, there have been a wave of schedule changes over the past few weeks, thanks to the public over-panicing about bird flu in Turkey and so a few planned runs to DLM/AYT/BJV have been consolidated or cut. So they have a bit of slack created - TCX are out to regain #1 Ontime Performance this year, and so have introduced a raft of measures to be a tight and on-the-ball ship this season!

Enjoy your flight! I'm looking forward to my first TCX A330 flight in 2 weeks, in Premium. All the reports I've heard are that it's an excellent service!
