Hi everyone. I just stumbled upon this article about DL and their new uniforms. BRIGHT!!!! Was wondering what the loyal DL riders and uniformed crewmembers thought?

Really? Almost 100 views and not 1 comment? I am not thrilled about the text...it is extremely negative...but I was really interested in getting the input from the loyal customers and crewmembers. I think something like this, while it seems small, is really a big deal when looking at the "brand" of an airline.

NO THOUGHTS???

I've seen a few variations of the new uniform...white blouses with red trim and some new navy jackets with an overlay of satin finish for strips. Doesn't look bad.

Not sure what an all "red" uniform will look like. The connotation might be a little on the "street walker" side if you get my drift.

At any rate, can't blame them for trying to get a fresh look. At least they're trying.

Search function was embraced...no luck. But if this beating a dead horse I will request the thread to be deleted.

Tons of threads on the uniforms, both positve and negative. Most nay-sayers bitching that DL is spending money again, Most kool-aid drinkers celebrating the morale boosting opportunity Delta is taking...

Having seen them many times since May 1st, I can say IMHO they're very classy, and the red dress looks great (altho uncomfy from what I heard, material wise). Bravo to Delta for trying to make their F/As look less like jail wardens (the old uniform).

Also, I've seen a 10x change in employee morale, they love them, love the look, the feel, the comments the customers have given them.
