Since a international route are flown by more than one airline and many frequencies are provided (eg. Taipei-Hong Kong, more than 20 flights a day and served by 4-6 airlines [sounds too much for an 1.5hrs flight]),Which route do you think the airline operator should reduce the frequencies and switch from small jets to jumbo jets?

I don't particulary think they should be switched if Californian airports can get their act together, but in the near future LAX-SFO will need to get jumbos and in certainly sometime possible candidates in California are LAX-Bay Area, LAX-SAN, and SAN-Bay Area.

Dallas-Houston has a lot of business travelers from both cities that will go to the other for the day for business, those routes are flown more often with smaller aircraft(Md80,757,727,crj,737) so that way if joe who lives in houston has to go to dallas for the day,he can travel on a smaller jet but he will be able to find a flight that suits his times,if they were served with 747's,767's and 777's,more than likely he would have to spend the night in dallas or something like that. but if i did have to choose a couple of routes,
YYZ-YVR and YUL,

I think, you are confused. I read OAG shows. These are not 8 flights a day. NW partners KL. You count NW and KL flights. They can't fly two planes at the same time for same route. They use one plane for NW and KL partners two different flights numbers. They're four flights daily between DTW and AMS. Get it?
