I saw what appeared to be an AA 738 on approach to DAL today (could have been a 757, but doubtful). I know AA's DAL-MCI and DAL-STL flights are operated on MD-80s, so was this a diversion, charter, or replacement?

You made me think of something funny my Dad said with that comment you made. He thinks they should bring some 727s out of retirement to operate the Love Field flights. Now that would be pretty funny! I know this wouldn't happen but I'm sure those noisy, beautiful machines would help resolve the Wright issue a bit faster .
