Has AA Ever Flown The 777 To GLA?

also has CO , could the AA operation go 4 times weekly from GLA and that could mean the 777 being used . i know that wouldnt happen but i m just wondering!

AA has never used the 777 on its scheduled seasonal flight from ORD to GLA, nor will it likely ever. The plane is way too big for the market, and the requisite reduction in frequencies that you mentioned would make American uncompetitive with other U.S. carriers that fly daily to GLA including Continental and USAirways. In addition, GLA definitely cannot support 3-class service, which the 777 offers, and would lose an enormous amount of money in that configuration.

CO used the 777 to GLA once when they pulled it off HKG due to SARS.

For reasons mentioned above AA will probably never use the 777 to GLA.

I'd be delighted with ORD going year round and a 757 to BOS or JFK being added in the future.

yeah i was wondering about AA going year round it seems a go connecting destination . 757s to BOs and jfk would be ideal . i would like to see NW to DTW but i cant see that happening.

Yes! AA have flown their 777's to GLA. But they were diversions :P
