Hey,

Can someone tell me why 2 North American Airlines 757 were at YYZ today? Were they filling in for someone?

Regards,

Glaeson

2 757's?

I know there's been 1 around for a couple of weeks now (N755NA). It's doing flights for Sunwing, as one if not both of their 738's have gone to England for the Summer.

The 757 will be doing the Sunwing flights until about June 4th, when Sunwing is expected to take delivery of a 737 from Boeing.

Sunwing has also been using a Flair 727 (FLHR) to carry out its flights.

Perhaps Sunwing decided to carry out all flights using North American aircraft - that however is just a guess...

Yup two of them,

I saw one depart at around 12:15 PM and then another around 4:45 PM this afternoon.

There were indeed two North American Airlines B757-200's at YYZ today. N754NA has been doing Sunwings for a few weeks now. N750NA was there to pick up a Skyservice charter down to Port of Spain.

Yes...TDV is still in Luton doing heavy maintenance and C-GMYH was on the PDL route for 24 hours so they needed an aircraft

N754NA

Actually, the one doing the Sunwing flights is N755NA - unless, they substituted the substitute a/c.

I know a North American 752 will be doing flight for Air Jamaica this summer, but JFK/GND nothing to do with YYZ.

There is something special about planes....
