The caption in this photo says being used for filming purposes.

Any know what film, probably not a major film but a documentary.

Could they be making one of those aircrash investigations for the National Geographic channel?

I also noticed the marking are back to front!

The reason I asked is because I was in Halifax, Nova Scotia the morning the MK Airlines 747 crashed on 14th October 2004, and actually flew out on a CO flight to EWR at about 11:30am that morning, I remember as we took off from runway 33 and trying to see the crash site off the far end of runway 24. All we see could see was a little smoke.

It would be tough to tell right now seeing as they are likely in the pre-production phase of this movie, maybe filming if they are likely.

If its a major motion picture (likely), we wont see it for a year or two.

If it's a documentary (highly unlikely), you'll see it tonight!  wink

Probably a documentary of some sort (the YHZ crash comes to mind). In Hollywood motion pictures one rarely - if ever - comes across real airlines.

Did the caption mention anything about there being snakes on the plane?

I think Snakes On A Plane, is probably too far into production for them to be painting a plane, but that movie seems to have a high enough budget to paint a plane, so it is possible.

But from the stuff posted on the net, it looks like the plane has a modified livery of Aerolineas Argentina with the blue stripes.

If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!
