Ethiopian Airlines is moving two out of four flights to Heathrow to night service, effective the first week of June. Anyone familiar with the LHR flights will note that the outbound flight does not allow for Africa-Heathrow connections, as it leaves ADD at noon, and all African flights return to ADD in the evening. While connection is not optimal (given slots at LHR), it is a step towards streamlining all connections at ADD, and should all be good once and if the other LHR flights go to overnight service as well.

Good catch ETstar.

Looks like LGW will drop back to 3x from the current 4x and LHR will go up to 4x from the current 3x. It also looks like the return flights on saturday nights will be through FCO from LHR. And one of the outbounds to LGW will also be through FCO on

Also it looks like from begining of june DXB will receive a second daily flight on a 73W 20 minutes after the first flight and will run through the begining of August and will be back in ADD 15 minutes before the 763 flight.

Hi ETStar, Can i ask you something? What do you exactly mean with ET going on a nightly service? LHR has a curfew which doesnt allow night flying and unless ive been reading incorect newpapers recently this is never going to change. Please shed some light on this matter.
