What Routes Does Saudi Airlines MD-90's Operate?

Coiuld anyone give me a definitive guide to what routes Saudi Airlines MD-90's operate on...

I am looking through the photo database and many of the pics seem to be a long way from home.

For example there are photo's of them flying into Dublin, Lisbon, Brussels, Heathrow and in the other direction Bangkok and Kuala Lumpar.

Do these aircrafts operate long haul routes with refuelling stops due to a lack of equipment the airline has or is it due to this aircraft being more suitable due to the payloads? As other airlines from this region of the world operate more suitable equipment for this kind of length of route.

Looks like the fly domestic and some international (into Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, and maybe Yemen and Oman). I say looks like, because that is what my flight schedules in Flight Simulator and the most current schedules from Ultimate Traffic say.  Smile

That's because some do shopping trips, but they do alot of domestic runs(where the runways is long enough for it) and regional destinations in the Gulf  Smile They also have the largest fleet of MD-90's in the world (27 active, 2 spares)

SV has the largest fleet in the whole Gulf area, although EK is getting really close.

Some of the aircraft in the SV fleet are(not incld. gov't):
-A300-600
-737-200
-747-100
-747-200
-747-300
-747-400
-777-200
-E-170
-MD-11
and of course the world's largest fleet of MD-90's.

In the last month I have flown SV MD90s on BAH-RUH, RUH-MED and ELQ-RUH.

The MD-90s fly most domestic routes, and a signifiacnt share of regional ones.

Regarding long haul ops, these are charters. It is chosen because it is the smallest plane SV have available even though it is ill suited for the job. Too short a range, and too large a capacity. They tend to stop at ATH for refueling when they fly to northern Europe.
