Hello, everyone!

I realized that this is only a reposition flight only, but apparently AQ is flying one-way SNA-OAK on 6/1.

Travel on June 1st only - Orange County to Oakland $20* one way.

Although, their online reservations states the routing to be SNA-SMF, which I knew about.

I'm kind of confused.

Perhaps AQ may start a flight between OAK and SNA? Possibility?

Not when they'd be competing against two established carriers - WN and AS - in the market. It would be rather stupid.

USAir A321 service now departing for SFO with fuel stops in CAK, COS and RNO. Enjoy your flight.

AQ flies against two established carriers on the OAK-LAS route. Why not SNA?

OAK-LAS is a tag-on designed to feed traffic from LAS to HNL. They're certainly not aiming to take on HP and WN in the O&D or connecting markets.

Besides, SNA is slot-restricted and AQ has no slots.
