Transavia considers taking Schiphol to court over the lowing handling charges that the airport charges LCC's that use the new LCC pier. Charges are 20% lower, and Tranavia would like to use the LCC pier too for cost recution purposes. Schiphol argues that Transavia with its large fleet would saturate the LCC pier and refuses Transavia access it. Transavia says this is giving other LCC's (16 at the moment) an unfair advantage and is considering taking legal steps against the airport. The 20% reduction would save Transavia €2m annually.

HV is a LCC, but because of limited stands at pier H, they cannot use it as they have too many aircraft, which puts them at a disadvatage against other LCC's (not based at AMS) That's the whole point, they REALLY want to use the pier, but can't. So I can imagine the complaint.
