Falcon kept only 2 MDs which are the ones currently wetleased to VH. That contract will soon be over when the FAA grants VH permission to fly their own metal to the US, which should be sometime between now and July.

Not a chance... according to the Venezuela-MERCOSUR accession treaty recently drafted in Buenos Aires gives Venezuela two deadlines to lift all their trade barriers with Argentina and Brazil. The first one in 2012 and the second one in 2014.
So no tax-breaks at least until 2014. The only way I can see E-jets here is if Conviasa buys them, since they it's state-owned, no problem about taxes.
