Help On Cuban Domestic Flights

Does anybody have any experience with Cuban domestic flights? What would you recommend, Cubana or Aerocaribbean? Looking at their web sites, the prices seem similar, but Cubana flies mostly Russian-built aircraft whereas Aerocaribbean flies ATR. The latter also seems to have a better safety record, but I don't know when they started operations.

Does anybody have any first-hand experiences that they're willing to share? Thanks in advance.

Service will be fairly minimal on either one and the domestic Cubana flight will probably be completely packed. There was not a great enough difference to recommend one over the other, do what works for your schedule.
