I was flying CO on TUS-BWI via IAH last Tuesday and was surprised to get upgraded on both legs as a OnePass Silver Elite. Of course I was thrilled (never mind the flight was an hour late departing IAH due to a missing crew member) but it got me wondering: are there routes where us lowly Silvers are regularly upgraded? I have never had any success on transcons, but IAH-BWI seems like a route with a good shot. Any others? Any info appreciated!
PS I know the golds and platniums here (though way more on FlyerTalk) hate the idea of Silver upgrades, but hey, that's why I spend the hundreds of extra dollars a year to fly CO, so please don't flame for being a lowly Silver and turn this into a "Silvers suck" thread. Thanks, AZStagecoach

Cleveland (with it's ~18 mainline destinations), to me, is the least elite-heavy hub. Keep that in mind. I cleared a Friday night CLE-MSP no problem, in addition to a Friday night CLE-LAS at the gate.

MCO from any hub in general is easy as they use large planes with good frequency to fit all the tourists, and CLE to florida seems to be easy. Most of the time IAH-Florida you have a good chance, but it can depend on the day.
Flights on tuesday also help your odds.
