777-200 And 777-300 Cockpits Are Not The Same!

The 777-300 has cameras in on the horizontal stabilizer and under the belly. The images show up on the MFD in the cockpit. 777-200 does not have this feature. When the plane is on the ground... it help the pilots look out for ground crew and other planes from behind! I think this is awesome! I didn't know it untill today!

That feature is included because of the greatly increased length of the 777-300 which would otherwise make ground manoeuvering very difficult.

None arent as long at the moment, until the A340-600 comes out in 2002 which will be even longer than the 773.

The A340-600 will have the same type of cameras, for the same reason as the 777-300 has them.

so... untill the A340-600 comes out... the 773 is the longest airliner ever built.... cool!
