I think US Airways is just too short on aircraft to run all these services.
It's very interesting to note, for an airline of its size, that US Airways has four hubs (CLT, PHL, PHX, LAS) and four fairly large focus cities (PIT, BOS, LGA, DCA). The mainline fleet is stretched really, really thin and if that A320 would be more profitably used elsewhere, well, one can hardly blame them for doing it.

It's a shame, though. Nothing like going to the Caribbean or Bermuda from LGA. It's SO EASY. Sigh.
