LGA-SJU On US - Gone?

From a quick look at summer and fall schedules for USAirways, it appears the weekend roundtrip nonstop service from LGA to SJU is gone.

Is this true? Might anyone have info on why this run was cut? I've flown the route numerous times, and always found full A320's every time.

Any details would be appreciated.

I think US Airways is just too short on aircraft to run all these services.

It's very interesting to note, for an airline of its size, that US Airways has four hubs (CLT, PHL, PHX, LAS) and four fairly large focus cities (PIT, BOS, LGA, DCA). The mainline fleet is stretched really, really thin and if that A320 would be more profitably used elsewhere, well, one can hardly blame them for doing it.

USAir A321 service now departing for SFO with fuel stops in CAK, COS and RNO. Enjoy your flight.

It's a shame, though. Nothing like going to the Caribbean or Bermuda from LGA. It's SO EASY. Sigh.
