Checking seatguru.com for my flights on EK from paris to Dubai to Djakarta to Kuala lumpur to Dubai to Paris (332 cdg - dxb; dxb - cgk and 777 cgk kul dxb and dxb - cdg), I notice that the seatpitch on their 332 is the standard 32 inches rather than the 34 inches as in their 777.
has it always been the case (less pitch on the airbus) ? I flew on their 332 before and I did think it was a bit cramped but I attributed it to the IEF box found under the seat (by the way, is it still there or change this annoying boxes? Is it under EVERY seat?).
Do all aircrafts now the ICE systeme ?
And lastly, do they ever use the 77W for this route (just hoping) ?
thanx

I flew EK 2 years ago MAN-DXB-SIN and return which meant I got to try out the A332 followed immediately by the B777. I couldn't feel any real difference in the personal space that was provided by my seat. After take off on the second leg however I was able to stretch out as I had 3 seats to myself. When its like this the 10 abreast B777 is no problem, believe me!

I fly on EK's A332 quite often....their business class seating is quite nice, but last time I flew, it was in cattle-class...fortunately it was only DXB-KHI-DXB which is a short flight...regardless, as evident from this photo, there is basically no room to sit (I'm barely pushing 5'10")..especially with that annyoing box....(yes, they are still there)...
while I haven't flown on EK's 777 in a while, I have flown on them a few times, and even with 10 across, the 34" pitch makes a big difference...
