I was flying back from Vienna to LHR the other day and noticed that there was no row 13 on the Austrian A321.

I must have flown a squillion miles over the years, but have never noticed this before.

How common is this? Anyone have any other supersition stories from other carriers?

This is pretty common, actually.

You can see how common it is there. I don't know off the top of my head. I'm sure you noticed that many hotels omit the thirteenth floor, as well.

This is quite common, we don t have a row 13 on our planes, and always play jokes to the newcommers. Can you go see the pax sitting at row 13B?

Many airlines don't have flight 13. Some airports don't have Gate 13. Many buildings don't have floor 13.

But still mostly in the US, no? I remember CO don't have row 13, but I know that AA do have it.

For Europe it's still pretty rare I guess.

Your own KLM doesn't have row 13 either!  Smile

Nor do AF, AZ, LH, etc. BA doesn't seem to have a problem with it though.

It ranks up there with no flight number 666, ship number 666, etc..

Although we have a ship number 13. It's one of our 777s. (N78013)
