I looking into the possibility to spend my vacation yet again at the Andaman Islands, anyone flown with Air Deccan? What aircraft do they operate on the
Kolkata-Port Blair route? Do they have any sales representatives in Europe?
BTW anyone flown with Aerosvit, I look flying the route Stockholm-Delhi with them.

On the CCU-Port Blair route you won't really find the super cheap tickets but they'll be cheaper than IC. Air Deccan is cheap, but they charge for water (which is a bit cheap) but it gets you from point A to point B, flight delays are not unheard of and seat pitch is tight. But it gets the job done.
On that sector they operate A320's.

A300B2/B4/6R, A313, A319/320/321, A333, A343, A388, 737-2/3/4/7/8/9, 747-3/4, 772/2E/2L/3, E170/190, F70, CR2/7, 146-3,

Thank´s Cricket, I´m aware that the Port Blair market is a bit limited in competition. 2 years ago it was only Indian Airlines and Jet Airways that flew
to Port Blair and no price difference so I think a third player on the domestic
route and one charter operator improves the option.

PM me. I have flown this sector twice .... and am doing a third. A self-labelled beach snob, I can tell you than ANI has the BEST beaches in the world. Also, DN's CCU-IXZ tickets sell VERY fast. I have 10 tickets for a group event. Bought the first 3 on INR 1999+1999 within the first 10 minutes of their booking window. The next 7 were INR 3499+3499! Message me - who knows - maybe we have same dates?
