haha, typical PR spin to brag how big they are. Their Caribbean flights indeed make them international, just like JetBlue. A snub at Southwest, if you are aware they are bigger at FLL... but they aren't international, na na na na na.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

No coincidence, just NK taking advantage of a situation that US apparently feels they can't make work. If NK can do it, more power to 'em.
USAir A321 service now departing for SFO with fuel stops in CAK, COS and RNO. Enjoy your flight.

Seems that Spirit flies to almost every major market in the US, save for IAH/HOU or PHL, PHX, DEN, SEA. I have been intrigued by this carrier for some time but as they do not fly to the Houston market, I have not had an opportunity to give these guys a try. Any chance that Houston might be on their radar anytime soon?

They run an ad locally where you can win a ticket "anywhere in the world Spirit flies". That's stretching PR just a bit too far.

Amen on that! NK will only be hurting their own passengers unless they can spread out their flights a little bit better because having six international flights arrive at the same time is insane.

Wait a second...Are you telling me that Washington DC and New York are IN the USA? That can't be right. Damn geography teacher lied to me in elementary school.
Yes...I am not a KIX fan. Let's Japanese Aviation!

I always thought DL should have expanded internationally at FLL the way NK has. They could shore up their markeshare in southern FL against AA at MIA.

I'll take MIA over FLL anyday. Yes, NK is the number 1 internation carrier at FLL. Numbers tell, not mouthes nor teachers.
According to Spiritair.com NK flies from FLL to
Cancun, Mexico
Motego Bay, Jamica
Kingston, Jamica
Santa domingo, DR
Punta Cana, DR
Saint Thomas, USVI
San Juan, PR
Nassau, BH
San Salvador, BH
Grand Turk, BH
Providenciales, BH

My point is that NK is the largest intl carrier out of FLL. The number of destinations show it.
