Hi,
I'm really sorry to be offline almost every day from the last three weeks. I can't stay in touch with the forum, what a pity...
I can't wait for this event and to meet all attendees! It will be a very needed oxygen bubble for me
I would also add that I will stay at the Hilton (Friday to Saturday) and at the Marriott Downtown (Saturday to Sunday). I plan to have a ZURICH overview during Sunday.

Furtunately I got those days off in my bid award and am looking forward to coming to ZRH for the first time. I may fly into London and then catch a flight from there, I am not sure yet but whi knows. I will definitely look at catching a nonstop. Remember I am non-revving in and may to go the long way way, but I will be there.

Just checking to see if anyone who is staying at the Ibis is having problems with online confirmation of thier reservations. I went to check mine and reconfirm my dates and it said my confirmation number was invalid. I don;t want to not have a room and bed in ZRH. The dates of the meet amazingly for some reason are completely sold out at the Ibis.

Hi Sean - I`ve just checked mine on their website and it did eventually display the reservation, although it took a few attempts !
Their website seems quite fussy about how you enter the details though - I did get the `invalid` response a few times, I think it was the way I entered my name - try entering just your surname in CAPITALS and make sure you`ve got the correct case for the reference number as well.
If all else fails it may mean a quick call to the hotel and they will have the details of your res.

I'm pretty sure that it will be forbiden, but if someone can enlight me
I also wonder if there will be someone at ZRH Friday whith the opportunity to take a picture of my arrival. First time for me with AF EMB120, it could be cool to have this kind of souvenir!

As for the TShirt you HAVE to be sure whether you want it or not. I don't want to have to pay a fortune for 30 t shirts and then only have 10 people buy them!

Here the plan again for July 29th, 2006.
Meet from 9.30am on till 10.30am, in front of the "Visitors Terrace" at Check-in 2.
Visit of the "Terraces B, + E" and a special bus tour to the touch down zone of RWY 14 and to the runway crossings of the RWY's 16/34 - 10/28.
(Until approx. 2.00pm)
After that, we'll have a lunch brake at "Terrace B", before we go at 3.30pm
again to the bus gate.
The other bus-tour will bring the group to the maintenance area of the airport where we will join an arranged tour offered by "SR-TECHNICS", one of the world leading aircraft maintenance companies. This tour will last for about 2,5 hours.
We'll see how engines, structure, cockpit instruments and components of aircrafts are overhauled.
If were lucky, we might see an test-run of an engine in the engine test facility.
And we will go inside an aircraft which is on that day undergoing B, C, or even D-checks. Possibly we might see an a/c of an airline which is only a costumer of SR-TECHNICS and not flying regularly into ZRH.
The SR Technics tour will start by 4.00pm and finishes appr. at 6.30pm.
