Earlier this year, I flew business class MXP-BOS on an AZ 762. At the time, both the AZ site and seatguru showed a seat configuration of 2-1-2 and I chose the middle "1". When I got on the plane, I was surprised to find a 1-2-2 configuration and was disappointed that I didn't have one of the window "singles".

I'm now planning BOS-MXP-BOS on another 762. I can't find seat configurations on the AZ site any longer and seatguru only shows a 763 with the 2-1-2 configuration. The AZ people say that the 762 config is 2-1-2 and pretty much told me that there is no such thing as a 1-2-2 config.

I really like the window "single" but don't want to get stuck with someone next to me. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
