On recent Norwegian Air flights I sat in the first row and noticed at least one of the F/As putting on black leather gloves while seated for takeoff and landing. I was assuming this is for protection in case of fire during an evacuation, is that correct? Is it an international, national or company regulation which requires the gloves?
