I an aware that Sun Country has some winglets on their 737-800 fleet, but is the entire fleet equipped with winglets now? If not, when should this be completed? Also, when did the first 737-800 get winglets (for Sun Country)?

I would love to see winglets on the 737-800 I take in a few weeks to MCO!

From what I thought it is only one at the current time but I could be wrong as I do see the SY with winglets in JFK alot.

I believe there are at least 4. There are pictures of them in A.net. I have seen at least 3 of them as they had them installed at Ontario Flightcraft at YHM. I think the first one was done around the beginning of April.

N804SY
N806SY
N807SY
N808SY

I hope this helps.

ok that makes sense the winglet versions of the 738 is a very frequent visitor to JFK, I love how it looks but I hate pushing it while a 75 is on gate 2 those winglets make me nervous.

N801SY is the last to be done sometime in the fall 2006. They are busy flying their summer skd now and they can't be without a plane.

Thanks guys for the info. They sure do look great on the 737s. I saw one today with winglets gracefully climbing away from 12R bound for ANC. I sure hope I don't get N801SY to MCO or back!
