Its not hard, it flies between Sydney or Melbourne on one hand and Heathrow, Frankfurt and LAX on the other.

I am sure there is software available that will help.

And why should I spend money to track Wunala Dreaming when people are perfectly capabale in helping me do it for free??? They do it for the Peter Max plane and other selected planes. I just thought itd be fun....To just let peole know where the thing goes day by day....

I think we would need someone who works at Qantas dispatch to give us the info about where Wunala is going. There's a guy who works at Continental dispatch over in the Peter Max threads who gives all the info on where the plane is heading a few days in advance. Is there anyone here works for Qantas???

It was in SFO last Wednesday, I believe that was when continuing service to Vancouver commenced. I was on the bay shore trail and got to watch in land on the 28s, gorgeous plane.

People who work for CO are nice enough to keep others informed on the whereabouts of PM. Better start looking for QF employees.

Frankfurt

You wont see the new Wunala in Frankfurt. She is a 747-400ER. The old Wunala 747-400 was very often in FRA.

By the way , what do you think about the A380 in this colour for Qantas. Or perhaps in the colour of "Nalanji Dreaming". Come on guys, any infos about that? I guess QF will paint one of its A380 in a special coulourship. How many did they order?

Please just answer my question, I know Airbus is late and so on.........

Yes, LordHowe,

That was my thread but that was just for a specific time that I was gonna be there.....This I am looking for a sort of ongoing thing.....Just to see if we all can keep track of the plane....
Its not like spotters and photographers have any qualms about posting a/c movements of planes they suspect are being used for covert operations...Or is that more challenging??? So yes, there was no need to pull up my former thread...

Cheers, Access-Air

I'm sure there are several photographers out there who would appreciate advance warning if Wanula is going to drop in near them, so they can get a photo or two. I didn't get any good photos when she visited YVR, and would love another chance...

Its never seen in FRA and hardly ever at LHR, being that its a 744ER its mainly used on SYD/MEL-LAX/SFO and the extensions to JFK/YVR from time to time. Ocassionally it is seen on other routes but not very often.

Actualy, I'm an agent at IAH, but working as a dispatcher would be an interesting change... I really should look into it....  cool

If it would come to FRA, I would take part in this. Unfortuantely it doesn´t.

Sorry, my mistake. You should look into being a dispatcher. I hear you get a lot of free jumpseat rides as a dispatcher.  bigthumbsup

Anyway, I still like the idea of tracking Wunala, but it can't be done if we don't have someone who works at QF giving us the info. We can't really guess where she's going based on past spottings. We need to know where she's heading a few days in advance as in the Peter Max threads. That way photographers and enthuists can plan ahead.

Where is she - and where is she going to be during the next few weeks/months?

I think I saw Wunala Dreaming yesterday (Saturday) taking off from SYD at about 1030, I only saw it from a fair distance away on the harbour near Manly. Definitely a 744 with a red fuselage and the red kangaroo tail ...

It left SYD to the east, so it was probably headed for LAX.
