I searched and came up with nothing ... but I still can't get the hang of the very eccentric search function , so apologies if this has already been posted
having now signed up OZ , and already having codeshare arrangements with LX / TG/ BD / LH / NH that means QR have arrangements with 6 existing and one future Star Alliance members , hopefully someday soon that will become a more indepth relationship extending to actual membership

Glad to hear the OZ/QR partnership was finaly signed
Hopefuly this means that QR will introduce future non-stops into ICN insted of operating the flights via PVG
Alternativly they may upgrade DOH-PVG-ICN, hopefuly

I hope so, membership into Star Alliance has been grately rumoured at QR, Star Alliance could do with a Middle Eastern carrier, and QR is perfect
I would expect that if QR joined Star Alliance then IAD or ORD would become ever stronger possiblities for new services due to them being UA cities, expect codeshare flights with UA
It would be great to see QR in Star, it could bring airlines such as NZ to the Middle Eastern area with codeshares operated by QR

QR joining *A makes a lot of sense for both, and this is another sign that QR is interested in membership. It would be a good addition to *A given it's a 5* airline!
