Granted this is from the HAS (Houston Airports System) site but some here might find it interesting.

I especially the remark from the Dallas Aviation reporter......"What Gives?!"

"Internationally-based carriers like Air India, Virgin Nigeria, Qatar Airways, Emirates Airline and Korean Air have all expressed interest in adding Houston to their air service networks."

KE at IAH has been a dream of mine. Three possibilities:

1) Tag along route IAHDFWICN
2) Two separate non stop flights IAHICN and DFWICN
3) KE moves from DFW to IAH

Thoughts, on which one pans out?

I would put them in the order you have them listed 102ex, in terms of possibilities. Just my 2 euro cents.

Did anyone catch the geographical error in regards to Qatar? I just fired off a correction to HAS for what it is worth.

Frankly I was surprised to see KE mentioned. I realize many here in Houston have been speculating that KE might consider such a move but I never thought as even a remote possibility. I know with DL closing their DFW hub a while back, rumors have been rampant in regards to KE, especially in light of CO becoming a full Skyteam member. However I figured that KE would stick with DFW, as I believe the loads are still good there being fed in from AA.

Goes to show how much I know.

"Africa-based Qatar Airways "

No fact checkers at the HAS?
