I'm almost sure I've seen Eurofly A320 in JFK, T4. Can I be wrong?

Not wrong at all!
Eurofly are opeating all-Business Class A319LR aircraft between Milan Malpensa and JFK. The flight was meant to be between Linate and JFK, but Eurofly are currently being prevented from using Linate by the US authorities so Eurofly have been forced to use Malpensa.

The seat design is the same one as the new AA Business Class...

Eurofly still use their A330s on Bologna, Naples, Palermo and Rome flights to JFK.

Here's a question, anyone seen families on this flight or just Business people. I was lucky enough to see the 319LR but I didn't see any families? Isn't MXP and the city of Milan known to be family friendly?

Very true. This begs the question with European airlines combining business with first class; the new premium classes no matter what you call them are they for families/travelers or business people?

Primarily for business travellers but there will always be some families with enough cash or miles to fly the premium classes....

But wasn't business class for the business people and first for the traveler with cash or miles?

It will be interesting to see if Eurofly can make this work.....these are very tricky niche markets, does Eurofly have the brand recognition and following to launch this type of service?!

I assume the mix will be similiar to the pax profiles on the Privatair flights.....lots of biz people and frequent flyers.

EuroFly, has been flying for years in the Italian market. It has a reputation above that of Alitalia, in addition its market share at JFK is equal to that of Alitalia and then some..

So they fly scheduled flights from Bologna, Naples, Palermo and Rome to JFK with A330s? Proper scheduled, or once a week sold through a tour operator, and only flown in summer? If this is a year round scheduled service, I'm impressed!

IIRC, they fly twice a week from BLQ; 3x/week from FCO; 3x/week from NAP; and 1-2x/week from PMO. Plus of course the 5x weekly A319LR flight from MXP. This year, the flights from BLQ/FCO/NAP/PMO are operated from mid-May/June to November.

I don't know how the flights are doing LF-wise, but I have my doubts about the all-business MXP service - it suffered many delays before it actually started, and Terminal 2 at MXP isn't exactly the most convenient facility for "business" travelers. But you never know, it might work  Smile

Ok so it's not year round but that's quite a lot of flying. Nice one Eurofly. Actually I'm surprised more charter / holiday / supplemental airlines don't join up major city pairs, I know Thomas Cook do London-Toronto in summer with 767s (although it's a well-kept secret, I've tried to book it but never been able to find it, it's only when you're in Toronto and you ask other Brits who they flew with and they tell you they flew on "Thomas Cook Airlines" - really?!) but I'm surprised Britannia (or whatever they're called this week) or Monarch don't do LGW-JFK in summer, NY (and other big cities, Toronto London NY et al) are as big a tourist draw as beaches.

Eurofly is noted in Italy for flying to Varadero, Cancun, Male, Mahe, Goa, and Mombasa..
