I just wanted some of the Mexican members know that JA8920, JL's Samurai Blue 2006 is flying into MEX tommorow as JL12, and leaving the next day as JL11.
I saw the flight into/out of YVR today and those faces do look good. But Japan did horrible in the world cup and they are out of there...... So IMO they should repaint those planes back to the normal colors ASAP.
But because Japan is gone, we in North America get an opportunity to see it here. I think so far, YVR and MEX are the only airports in North America to get it (since the rest of NA have three class service and JA8920 is configured in two classes)
I feel horribly sorry for the Mexican team, but reminds you that the world cup is still ongoing!!!

Yup, I was reading about that rumor too. But I saw the plane fly into YVR as JL18/17 today. Then it is going to have a three hour stay in Tokyo and fly back via Vancouver to Mexico. So, I think no time to strip it off!!!

I snap over 50meg's, nearly 30 raw pics in sequence... i really didn't like that B747 as seen thru pictures but seeing it with my own eyes was awesome and totally changed my opinion!!!!

NP. I am glad that JL is doing it to their int'l aircraft this time. They did it for their 744D in the last world cup which was held in their own country, but I guess they decided to go bigger this time.
