The subject line says it all -
I've to decide and pick an european gateway soon.
This gateway should be easy and convenient in terms of flights freq. and TOD to either BUH (Bucharest) or (Constanta) CND. I gather non of the US carriers fly to any of these destinations.
I guess the choice of airport may also influence the carrier decision. If someone out there feels that a train into Romania is a better deal, I'll be glad to hear about that too.

British Airways has daily connections to Bucharest via London (LGW).....

BA2894 LGWOTP 1015 1545 1-3456- 734 (the other days the connection isnt that great leaving LGW at 1730 - but if you wanted a stopover in London that would work)

I've flown US to Buchrest on United (Lufthansa code share flight) conecting in Frankfurt. It is not a bad way to go.
