I guess the 11 day old MLU service is going good. So now according to AA they will have 44 daily departures from Louisiana  Smile

I wonder what CO thinks about this, as this is their turf  wink

DFW-TLH, DFW-PFN. Only ones I can think of currently.

Itd be nice to see them perhaps start to grow in Arkansas a little, Perhaps a few of the EAS cities (Jonesboro, El Dorado, Hot Springs, and Harrison) could get improved service to Dallas. Most of these airports have seen good increases in enplanements in the past few years.

Experience is what you get when what you thought would work out didn't!

Poking a bit into NW's territory. If I recall correctly, NW runs 3 flights daily MEM-AEX. I flew into AEX on NW in January. Very small airport; security does one flight at a time, and only the flight that is preparing to board. NW runs Saabs there. DL and CO run Embraers from ATL and IAH, respectively.

Good news for AEX folks, though.

Well, from the June 2004 Delta timetable, the last summer season before Delta closed the DFW hub, the cities still missing replacement American/Eagle service are:

- Beaumont/Port Arthur (BPT)
- Columbus/Starkville/West Point (GTR)
- Montgomery (MGM)
- Myrtle Beach (MYR)
- Panama City (PFN)
- Tallahassee (TLH)

I could realistically see Beaumont eventually getting the same treatment as Monroe, Lafayette, and now Alexandria, i.e., 3x daily SAAB service. I could also see Montgomery and Tallahassee eventually getting 2x daily EMB service each. Panama City, however, I don't see ever getting Eagle service, as Eagle now already flies 13x daily EMB service to the Florida panhandle (Pensacola and Ft. Walton Beach), and I definitely don't see Columbus/Starkville, MS getting its service back, seeing as even with the Delta hub, it only got a single daily CRJ, and thus probably could not support an entire Eagle station.

AA has flown to AEX in the past, they pulled out in 2001-02, I believe.

Hey all I know that Eagle has many many Saabs parked in ABI and IGM. Are there any of these birds coming out of retirement to fly again? I would say no to the ones in IGM but the ones in ABI are right at a maintenence base to be fixed up and flying again soon, or are other saab cities loosing flights? Or are other saab cities getting ERJ's to fill the saab slots?

How about returning the daily flights from ORD-SAV? I know this is a DFW topic, and I dont mean to get off track, but we need some more compitition on the AWFUL SAV-ORD flights on UA. The Eagle flights need to come back. As do Eagle flights SAV-MIA. We need something to go south out of SAV too...
