BA's 737 And 757 Nose Cones.

Is there a reason why on some their 737s and I think all of the their 757s there is a black ring around the nose.

No. There was one B757 with MLS equipement and that had a black and white quarters painted on the radome. Its gone now. I think it was IKK?
