Do you think they will at some point in the future become a SkyTeam associate member?

I don't only think so, I'm fairly sure as they announced it about a month ago  Wink

Like wise. I'm constantly getting very positive feedback from passengers which have flown Portugalia. They are a small but rather well managed airline.

I'm rather pleased to see Portugalia go down this road. It's also rather comforting to know that both Tap and Portugalia now make part of an alliance. Not bad for such a small country.

Are there any plans to replace the F100s? Does anyone know if they are owned or leased?
Thanks

According to the last news I heard (although are news with 2 months old) Portugália intended to replace the F100 by Embraer 170/175's. However with the failing of the negotiations with TAP, and with the approach to SkyTeam, Portugália was considering replacing the Emb145 by Emb170/75 and keeping the Focker100 despite their age.

Emb 190/95 were also under consideration for a second stage.

You can check more details in a previous thread here:

Had always excellent experience with Portugalia -flights.
Very friendly and motivated crews, spotless clean aircraft, decent food and drinks.
Portugal is small as a country (...what a nice country it is !!! ) but blessed with two great airlines ....
May this award motivate them to continue their road for excellence.
They are an enrichment for any airline-alliance.
Congratulations !
