I was looking out of my window here in Atlanta and started to think of what type of plane do I think looks really good. I must say I enjoy the 747-400 and the Airbus A320-200. However, I do not see many of those in ATL but its a treat to see them sometimes.
PS I cant wait to see the 764 in October fly over!!!

The 744. Best looking plane ever. The 742's also look nice, actually, all 747's look really great, except for the SP's. My runners up would have to be the 777, MD-11, DC-10, and A300/A310.

In general I like the wat that the 737 looks, but I think that it's too short and fat. But I think that the 757 is one of the sleekest looking aircrafts flying. It has a long narrow body that makes it look like a bullet.

Definitely the 747...
The Concorde's also a great looking aircraft... (and the easiest to draw for my art class) hopefully we'll see it's beauty in use again.

I'll never forget the first time I saw a 747 at the age of 12! I was on a school trip to Caracas, and we had a stopover at Curaçao. I remember my best friend and I were doing what two little boys do, just going here and there in the airport. When we got to the viewing area, we were suddenly stopped dead in our tracks by the fierce sight of a KLM 747 parked directly in front of the viewing glass. We were directly in front of the nose, as we gazed in awe over the length and ferocity of the beast. It was breathtakingly beautiful with all those curves, that huge wing, the huge nose high off the ground. It kicked so much ass, it even had cabins upstairs! We just looked at each other and said "WOW!!" It looked so monstruous parked next to our little ALM aircraft (it was probably an MD82). We imagined all the places this 747 probably flew to, and made plans one day to visit these places on just such an aircraft!
When I called 2 days ago, I asked if he remembered the time we encountered the KLM 747, and he said, everytime he travels somewhere far, like in Europe, he always remembers that day, and the plans we made.
Well, anyway, just a little background history on why the 747 is my favorite, especially the 400 series.

I LOVE the DC10 and MD11.
I hate to see them leave passenger service. Please do you have to go?

As I am a regular planespotter here at YYC on the weekends, I have probably seen them all.
The one plane that has "always" struck me as the most esthetically pleasing is the Airbus A340-300 as operated by Air Canada.
It has the most beautiful lines and always seems to look like it is gracefully floating in the air on final approach.....rather than working to stay aloft like some other aircraft.

The L1011 with the "frisbee" fairing under the #2 engine inlet is dewfinitely my favorite.
Among those, the -500 looks best to me - although it may appear to some as kind of stubbby, it really looks powerful with its 3 engines, long span and relatively short body. A real powerhouse.

The new 767-400 has won me over. The swept wings are great additions to an already attractive aircraft.

B-757.
But to fly on one? Yuck!
A B-767 is kind of fat, but they are wonderful to fly on..for a Boeing (They are all too loud inside).
