"Malaysia Airlines is the winner of the 2006 Award for Best Economy Class - an award is based upon quality of product and service standards supplied on long-haul, intercontinental routes. Runner-up is Singapore Airlines, with Swiss moving from 6th in 2005 to take 3rd this year, Qatar Airways into 4th place (2005=9th), and Emirates maintaining a ranking in the top 5."

I think this is where MH should concentrate on after this. As the report said, it's the butter and bread of Airlines. Seeing the best First Class goes to Cathay Pacific and Best Bussiness Class goes to British Airways and with high competition with SQ, MH should dominates the Economy during its corporate restructure. because it will contribute more on its revenue..

Now Malaysian Airlines belongs to Malaysian Goverment. Recently we have problem with the company, but the Malaysian Goverment will bring out the company from the dark period. Even in this period, we still continue our deal for the A380. Life has to go on.

Quoting Ryanair!!! (Reply 1): Either the survey is flawed, or Swiss really upped their game recently.
As a frequent MAS traveller who has now migrated to Star Alliance - I sit here at BKK (having arrived from KUL) waiting for tonights Swiss flight to Zurich. I have to say the service out of Zurich was fantastic and surprisingly only very 'slightly' off par with SQ and MH.

I was very pleased with the service I got in economy on MH. I have flown from the Uk to Australia twice now with MH and they were brill. I tell all my friends to go with them. It helps that KLIA is such a nice airport to stop at on the way!
