I was driving to Terminal 6 at JFK around 8-8:15 AM this morning...Looking out towards Terminal 7 I saw this very weird looking aircraft. I only caught a glimpse of it for literally a second or two but it appeared to be a kind of red and navy blue livery with a weird-shaped livery on the tail. I know this is not descriptive at all, but does anyone have any idea what I am talking about?
This was bugging me all the way down to FLL so any help is appreciated!

Does Cargo360 fly to JFK? They're rather unknown and have red all over their livery, including a weird shaped symbol on the tail. Aircraft is a 743. However the aircrafts belly is not marine blue but grey.

This is a total guess...but possible.
Having checked the JFK Website, a flight CTT106 arrived at 8:05am from MDT. Research reveals CTT is Custom Air Transport, and that it was a Boeing 727-200. Probably looked a little something like this:

Thanks for searching, but it's not it!
Quoting RichardBHX (Reply 10): there was a Lan Peru flight 530 from Lima which landed about 8:15am, which was a B763.

I am confused: Was it a strange looking plane? Or was it a plane with a strange looking livery?

Hey im new to airliners.net. Have always viewed but finally joined.
any chance it could have been U.S. airways livery flying HPN's PHX flight?
It matches the description of navy blue and red. If you just got a glance it could of looked a little weird and i havn't been to jfk in a couple of months but i know HPN was at terminal 7. Just a thought (great to post even though im probably wrong)

Quoting Piercey (Reply 20): better yet, where are the US retrojets? Could the PSA or Piedmont A320s be in JFK? (I have no idea where they are, so don't flame me!).
That is a good point--I thought of that too, but I don't think US mainline flies into JFK (though the retrojets definitely serve LGA, so could have been a diversion I suppose).
This is red (with some navy) and has been known to use T7 at JFK, though I suspect RJ might have recognized the kangaroo on the tail:

HPN is at HPN in White Plains approx 45 miles north of JFK.

Don't think Putin is visiting the U.S. and China Eastern doesn't fly to the east coast.

JFK is operated by America West metal.

Plus Qantas arrives at JFK around 5:30 P.M. and leaves around 7 P.M.

29 AlitaliaMD11: Yeah I was going to say possibly he saw that bird, but yesterday the flight didn't operate. That would be a cargo charter done by Atlas Air.
30 ORDPIA: Thats a cargo flight normally operated by Polar or Atlas.
31 Jbmitt: The US retrojets have been at JFK. Several are former HP planes.
33 FoxBravo: Ah, thanks--that makes more sense. I didn't realize that--if so, I think that might be the most likely candidate. Looks like an HP A319 was on the gr

36 Jbmitt: It doesn't appear that any of the America West 757's are scheduled into JFK today. I see 3x 319's and 4x 320s today. The Piedmont jet is ex US Airways
37 Mikephotos: There seems to be a Air Jamaica flight to MBJ around that time that's operated by a B757-200. Since JM doesn't have B757's, it's probably operated by
38 RJpieces: Thanks for all the replies everyone...I'm not entirely sure but I think it was that Cargo360 that is shown above. I'm almost to the point of watching
