Just wondering if there is some way outside the airline computer systems to find out how many passengers travel between two given markets. People refer to these numbers regularly on a.net...where do you get them?

DOT publishes extensive data for domestic travel while IATA published a host of data on international city pairs.

Short of searching thru reems of such data, the mentioned faremeasure.com web page is available. While not fully 100% accurate or up to date it provides some decent guidance on domestic demand.
